This last weekend I race at the Colombian National Championship being able to enter the a main after a lot of issues during the weekend. But on the Final I lead from the minute 6 to 25 approx until a mechanical issue, I was able to fix it and re-enter the race where I need to start going again from the back, but on the minute 40 to 45 I take the lead and put the work in to finish 1st, to give XRay and Pro-Line the first Colombian Nats after a lot of TQ’s.

Thank you for all your support I run X3 LockDowns they where the best tire for the long Main.

May 12-14  – Final at GP/Warm Up EC and Bitty Contest which was in Eskilstuna Sweden.
Jessica after first  qualification was 7th in total, but 2nd and 3rd quali were less good ;-)

So she started 3rd in 1/4, then bumped to 1/2 and after really good semi final she fixed A-Main-final, which was really good. It was very cold +5°C and we tested some new things before EC.

The first round of the Austrian 1:8 E-Buggy Nationals was held on the very tricky and super bumpy track of the MBV Notsch in the very south of Austria.
Hoeco supported drivers did very well all weekend with Andreas Mayr starting on Pole after winning his semi and Rene Kargl winning the event after winning the first 2 mains with superb driving.

Personally I was struggling all weekend and only finished 6th overall.

8 out of the 12 finalists used Pro-Line rubber with 5 out of the top 6.

Final Result:

1st – Rene Kargl – Pro-Line Bow-Tie X3
2nd – Jürgen Trieb
3rd – Andreas Mayr – Pro-Line Switchblade X3
4th – Martin Kreil – Pro-Line Blockade/Lockdown X3
5th – Thomas D. – Pro-Line Blockade X3
6th – Hupo HöniglPro-Line Bow-Tie X3

thank you and best regards,
Hupo Honigl

Me and P-L Teammate Jared Wiggins headed out to LRT Raceway in Evansdale, IA for their outdoor season opener. 60 entries with some great nitro buggy competition would be in attendance. This track is unique in that it has a very hard, abrasive, almost sandpaper like surface with really high tire wear. We knew this would call for X compounds all day and were confident in the Pro-Line rubber to withstand these conditions.

I would be running Nitro and Electric Buggy. Jared and I would bounce and try tire ideas back and forth and we were narrowed to Fugitives, Blockades, and Lockdowns.

Just wanted to recap the weekend at the Force Series round 3 in Tampa Florida. 186 entries for the event. Friday the track got really hot and grooved up with the sun out and we got into X compound Tires quick. On Saturday it was a lot different with cloud coverage and a few small showers which brought us back to M compound Tires.

In Nitro Buggy I qualified 6th with my Xray XB8 17 and the Buggy was awesome in qualifying using Lockdowns.

I switched to M3 Switchblades in the Main as it was the best tire for the conditions of the track. Read the rest of this entry »

In this late summer weekend, drivers from coast to coast travelled to West Monroe Louisiana to compete at the Southern Indoor Nationals. With 411 entries, there was stiff completion all across the board. Many drivers from the Pro-Line Racing Team contended, and at the end of the weekend, we truly came out on top.

Top Pro Joe Bornhorst, reigning world champion Ty Tessmann, as well as a handful of regional hot shots came out to represent. Nitro Buggy and Truggy, as well as Electric Buggy were the classes of choice. This track included many unique features. With large jumps, and a bumpy dustier surface, the driving experience was trickier than the common race. Most of the team drivers chose the M4 Hole Shot as their go-to tire. With the super soft rubber, and smaller pin, it allowed them to have lots of grip and turn the fast laps they needed to qualify in the top spots. Read the rest of this entry »

The Wicked Weekend
Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center – Gainesville, GA
August 19 – 21, 2016

Wicked Weekend has been our favorite race by far and after attending this year it still is. There were 640+ entries this year making it the largest attendance for this race ever. #Dave Leikam, #Jennifer Tyndall Smith, #Bobby Moore and the whole track crew put together an outstanding event with a super fun track layout. Race announcer #Lance MacDonald along with some help by #Patrick Rossiter kept the program running smoothly and made it exciting. We want to give a huge shout out to #JJ Sports Photos for taking the time to capture some awesome shots throughout the whole weekend.

I made the 3-hour drive up to Medford, Oregon, for the 2nd round of the yearly NCSOS series. The 2nd round of the series would be held at Crown Raceway, just outside of Medford, Oregon located on Chad Paris’ property. This meant for some real off-road racing! I would end up practicing all day Friday and was able to start with a good base setup for all of my cars. Tires would play the biggest role in setup, once I found the right tires my cars were dialed for racing on Saturday. With 60 entries and around 20 E-Buggies, I knew it would be for some good competition.

Feeling confident going into qualifying, I would go ahead and TQ all three rounds of qualifying in the E-Buggy class for the overall going into the triple A-Main events. It would be almost the same way for Pro Nitro Buggy, I would be on a TQ run but unfortunately my tires would come unglued and end my race.  Luckily I would have good runs in my last two qualifiers putting me as the overall TQ.

All of my Tekno cars were amazing with the help from my Pro-Line M3 LockDowns!

On July 23rd, racers from the East Coast traveled to the Tiltyard in Dayton, VA for the 2016 East Coast Shoot out presented by Race Ready Products.  With temperatures on tap all weekend for over 100 degrees, it was sure to be a hot one.  The event gathered 127 entries to battle it out for the top spots over the 2 day event.

Ethan entered the event in the 1:8 Nitro Buggy class with his Mugen Seiki MBX7r on Pro-Line X3 LockDown Tires for the entire weekend.  Qual points were the race format and he would put his buggy after three rounds of qualifying on the number three starting position in the A-Main behind Pro-Line teammate, Anthony Mazzarra.  After the 30-minute main, Mazzara and Mackanick would finish in the top two positions on the podium in number one and two respectively.
