This past weekend me, my dad and Jeremy McGuigan all took the trip down to Harrisburg, PA for Motorama. This was mine and my dads first trip to the facility but it was awesome. I decided to run Expert E-Buggy and Expert Truggy. This weekend was probably the toughest weekend for me ever since I started racing but I made the best of it! The weekend started off great getting the Tekno Cars dialed in to the fullest.

The tires I ran on each car were Pro-Line Hole Shots on both vehicles which gave them awesome traction throughout the entire weekend! Read the rest of this entry »

Well the weather finally cooperated this afternoon for an outside RC presentation at our Early Childhood School (as well as for me switching into short sleeves during lunch).

The 3-5yr olds loved seeing my QPD squad car along with helping me drive the Pro-Line PRO-2 Police Short Course Truck.  Got lots of hugs and hi-fives!!!

Round 2 of the Thornhill Championship. We had 96 entries for this event with drivers from all over the state, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi. I ran Electric Truggy

In Qualifier one, truck felt good, almost too good, Pro-Line Buckshot M3 made the rear grip higher than i wanted, and the truck seemed to push in the high speed corners. I also had too many mistakes on the track, would put me 8th overall in qualifying. Read the rest of this entry »

This past weekend I raced the Dirt Nitro Challenge in Phoenix, AZ, this year’s race had the most competitive field of drivers that I can ever remember. This year the Track was very challenging to start off with, with a good rhythm section in the front. The track got extremely rough from all the vehicles on it and it became even more difficult. We got 2 seven-minute rounds of practice for each car on Wednesday and this was used for seeding. My cars felt good but we continued to work on the setup throughout practice to get more pace, after practice I ended up seeding 3rd in truck, 6th in nitro buggy and 10th in E-Buggy.
Qualifying was difficult and very intense with the high speed layout and the tough competition. Thursday would be qualifying day for Truggy and E-Buggy. I was able to qualify 5th in E-Buggy and 4th in Truggy, my cars felt good and I felt I should have qualified better, but I was excited for the mains. Friday was nitro buggy qualifying, this was the most difficult because everyone was so close in speed and 1 small mistake would put you from 1st to 8th or worse. I was able to tq the first and third rounds to take the overall TQ for the Main on Sunday.
