I’ve always enjoyed the Rally car segment of RC building various versions over the years so naturally when I saw this latest offering from Traxxas, I knew I had to check it out. The car is everything I expected and a little more. The 7407 Rally uses the same Bathtub Chassis / Drive line components from the newer 6804R Slash 4×4 Platinum and has updated body mounts and a new high impact Rally Car style front bumper. The 7407 Rally has a beefy /well built look which handles and performs right out of the box, but who likes stock? Of course it needs some of our Pro-Line Performance Upgrades!

When I think of the phrase ‘Bang for your Buck”, the Evader Brushless falls right at the top of the list. At just under $250.00, this truck offers a world class, race inspired suspension / chassis, Brushless Motor Power and a 2.4GHZ Radio System made by Futaba.

The truck is very impressive out of the box and you can make it an awesome track or back yard ripper with some of Pro-Line Racing’s Performance Upgrades.

Want to customize your EXO buggy into something different than the rest. Here is an article from Axial that mounts a Pro-Line VW Baja Bug body on to the EXO Terra Buggy.

Source: Axial Racing

The Axial EXO Terra Buggy stands out due is its unique looks and construction.  The integrated cage and multi-piece body separates it from the norm, eliminating the standard body posts and bouncy lexan body found on most RC’s.  So what do you do when you feel the need to change the look of your EXO Terra Buggy?

The HPI Savage XS series  including the latest XS Flux Water Proof version is quickly becoming one of the most popular Mini Monster trucks out there.  It’s slightly larger than the Mini Revo  / Mini Summit and packs a punch right out of the box. The truck is beefy / well built and set up to handle the larger standard size battery packs normally found only on larger 1/10th scale vehicles.

When I’ve bought my first R/C truck in the early 90’s, the choice was very limited. In fact, there were only two options, 2wd buggy or 2wd truck. Just to point you in time, the next most common question was, mechanical speed controller or electronic speed controller! My choice ended on a Team Associated RC10T, the one with the narrow front wheels and all white plastic parts. The 2wd stadium truck was the heavy metal class!
Today, things have changed quite a bit. There are many more options when comes the time to buy a R/C truck. Among all the R/C trucks on the market, I felt like something was missing. Why there is no 4×4 electric stadium trucks? HPI had released the (now discontinued) RS4 MT many years ago but since then, N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Okay, maybe one or two unknown companies sell 1/10 4×4 electric stadium trucks but not the R/C top names!
I’m a hard believer that 4×4 electric stadium trucks will (must) be the next big thing in R/C. That’s why I’ve decided to not wait for any manufacturers and to go ahead and build my own one, my Team Associated RC10T 4×4!

The base:
For this project, I’ve used a Team Associated SC10 4×4 kit version. I had run the truck few times so I know the truck will be durable and will perform very well on any surfaces. The SC10 4×4 was, for me, the easiest (laziest?) path to build a 4×4 stadium truck.
The very first step was to remove the front and rear bumpers and both nerf bars. Hey! It already started looking like a stadium truck!

Let’s face it, the Slash has pretty much carved out a huge chunk of the RC industry spawning a segment that has grown into Epic proportions in just a few years. One of their latest versions of this game changing truck is the Ford F-150 Raptor SVT. This model more closely captures the realistic lines of the real street Version Ford produces.  With all the realistic styling in this latest verison, I just couldn’t resist creating my own version’s of a Pre-Runner / Baja Chase Truck.  Especially with all the cool upgrades and accessories we offer here at Pro-Line.

One of the most common issues that comes up is The ballooning of Tires when running in  Extreme Speed conditions as well as  holding tires on to Bead Lock wheels . These conditions are the result of using Extreme high capacity Batteries  and Brushless Motor resulting in extreme speeds of your RC vehicle.

Today I’m going to go over with you some techniques / tips to help eliminate both of these conditions.

First you need to gather up some supplies.  In this case, I’m using the 1159-01 Trencher SC tires and mounting them to our Renegade 2731-03 SC Bead Lock wheels. You’ll also want some Gorilla Tape (Duct Tape) a tube of Permatex (I’m using Ultra Gray in this application), and some Isopropyl Alcohol for cleaning the tires.
