This past weekend we made the 11 hour trip down to White Pine, Tn for the 10th annual Psycho Nitro Blast! This event being like no other with 24 hours of practice and racing going nonstop from 5am on Friday. With the 916 entries I decided to race all three Pro Classes: Nitro Buggy, Nitro Truggy and E-Buggy. Friday practice went well with all three Tekno cars feeling right on pace! Qualifying had its ups and downs, in Pro Buggy I got an A-Main run in Q1 and was a bit off pace in Q2 and 3 putting me 2nd in the B-Main!

First off, I want to thank everyone who came out as I know we had over 250 entries!!
Also a huge thanks to my boss, Justin Zaugg for letting me race one class while working the shop! As for the racing, I ran E-Buggy and was able to TQ and win the main!

Had a blast this weekend at the opening march club race at Thunder Road Hobbies! Some stiff competition showed up from all over! Was able to TQ both rounds of Nitro Buggy by less than a second over Jake Spaulding and Mike Murphy Jr. to take the overall! And also took both rounds of Truggy over Brandon Hogan! Mains went well!
This past weekend I made the trip to Motorama in Harrisburg, PA. First Off, Massive thanks to Joe Bornhorst for the ride from the airport and the help all weekend! Also thanks to the Lewis’s for the place to stay and support from Pro-Line! This being an all Electric race I only ran Pro E-Buggy and Pro 4×4 SCT, with 108 E-Buggies and 50 or so Short Course it was stacked! After the limited practice and seeding my cars were feeling great and starting in the A qual.
Had an awesome time this weekend at SIC in Alabama! Facility was top notch and the program was extremely well ran by Lance MacDonald and sub Patrick Rossiter!
As far as qualifying I had a bit of a struggle in the nitro classes with consistency, having the first two rounds go rough and the last ones top 10s I was stuck in the B-Main for both Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy. After an awesome hole shot off the gate drop in Buggy I would have the lead for awhile and after dropping off a bit held on a bump to the A-Main!
Wanted to give you a recap of Southern Indoor Championship.
This year, we had right at 450 entries. I arrived Thursday night and got all setup and put the Pro-Line tent next to the track.

Had a great time working and racing the New Years Day race at Race Em RC yesterday! 210 entries was a record breaker! Thanks to everyone who made the trip near and far!
As for my racing I jumped in Q1 of E-Buggy without practice as we were swamped in the shop (had 2 full heats which is huge for our area!). Was able to TQ both rounds and take the Main!
Had a great late race battle with Julian Malevanets after getting caught up a bit, overall an awesome race!
Had an awesome time this weekend at the first round of the Tekno Winter Series race in Omaha, Ne! Decided to run three classes with a little over 100 entries was a bit of a chore but we got it figured out! After some fairly solid qualifying I was able to start 3rd in Nitro Buggy, 2nd in Truggy and 2nd in 4×4 SC. Going into the mains we knew it would be tricky as I was races 8 (Buggy) 9 (Sc) and 10 (Truggy) so that made for about an hour and ten minutes of racing back to back to back. In buggy I got off to a good lead and even though I made a few setup mistakes and didn’t have the fastest car I still was able to get within a couple seconds of the lead at one point, with a couple mistakes late race I would still come back to finish a strong 3rd! We learned from our mistakes and will adapt and come back stronger in the next one! In SC I had the lead for the first couple minutes but after some lap traffic and a couple bobbles on my part I just missed the podium.
Had an awesome time at the 2016 Southern Nationals in West Monroe, LA! With just over 400 entries I decided to run all 3 pro classes, Pro Buggy, Pro Truggy and Pro E-Buggy! Practice went well making minor adjustments and learning the fairly tricky layout. Qualifying had its ups and downs, but after three rounds I was able to make all three Pro A-Mains!
Last week I made the trip out to Stateline in Fremont, In for the ROAR 1:8 E-Nats! I decided to go last minute so I only raced Buggy. I struggled a bit with electronic issues and my own mistakes so I ended up qualifying 18th overall putting me 6th in the B-Main, where I would finish due to our Main getting rained out.It wasn’t exactly where I wanted to be but I can’t complain about a B-Main at a national championship!
