This past weekend I attend the 2018 Reedy Race of champions at OCRC. I raced open 2WD Buggy and open 4WD Buggy. The layout of the week was, Wednesday open practice, Thursday 1 heat of open practice and 2 seeding rounds. Friday three rounds of qualifying. Saturday one round of qualifying and lower mains. Sunday was main day. Wednesday the track was loose but was only getting better the more people ran on it. I ended the day with my cars feeling good and ready for seeding.

Thursday, was the first day on the reedy race tires. The first couple runs on my 2WD Tires my car didn’t have good side bit or forward drive. My 4WD had good forward drive and side bit after the first free practice. After two rounds of seeding I had the fastest time in open 4WD and the fourth fastest in 2WD. Read the rest of this entry »

This past weekend I raced the Winter Classic at LSR Raceway.

I raced 2WD Mod Buggy and 4WD Mod Buggy. I have been going to Lsr for the past couple Saturdays to get my cars better on the low-medium grip clay track and there was some more practice on Friday before the race.

Thanks to doing this I had my XB2’17CE and XB4’17 dialed on Pro-Line MC Electrons on the Front and Pro-Line MC Positrons on the rear powered by Hobbywing. Read the rest of this entry »

This past week at Stateline Raceway was the 2017 1/8th scale Off-Road Fuel Nationals. Wednesday was controlled practice; the track was very dusty and had low grip to start with, but then the track was getting better as the week went on. The track seemed to worsen every day. My cars were gaining traction and going through the bumps good all week.

The Buggy tires I ran were: Pro-Line X3 Switchblade, M3 Buckshot, and Triple Silver Blockade. The Truggy tires I ran were: Pro-Line M3 ElectroShot, M3 Buckshot and triple silver Buckshot. Read the rest of this entry »

This past weekend I attend the 2017 Race for Autism. I raced pro Nitro Buggy, pro Nitro Truggy, and E-Buggy.

Qualifying, the first round had it’s ups and downs. In E-Buggy I TQ’ed, in truggy I had to get flipped over and it cost me TQ but I still got a second for the round. In pro nitro buggy my transponder did not work, so I got a dnf.

Round 2, I had a TQ in E-Buggy and pro Nitro Buggy. Truggy I had some mistakes and finished 2nd.

So overall I started 2nd in pro Nitro Truggy, 1st in E-Buggy , and 1st in pro Nitro Buggy.

Mains, I won E-Buggy tone to tone. In pro Nitro Truggy, at the start of the race car number 1 was not set down at the tone and I got in the lead. Then I crashed and went back to third and made my way back up to 2nd and battled with first, or ( Mason Eppley) and passed first then I got a gap of 4 seconds, then I crashed. At the end I ran out of fuel with one minute to go but still finished 2nd. The pro Nitro Buggy A-Main, I lead from tone to tone with only a couple mistakes but ended up taking the win.

I would like to thank Kevin Palmer and Charlie Cavalier for all their help as well my sponsors, Xray, Rc America, A-main.com, Hobbywing, Pro-Line, Protekrc, Vp Racing Fuels, Sanwa, Hudy, Ogio, CowRc, Stickit1Racing.com and 110% Racing
