Past weekend was season opener race at SEWYRC club in Cheyenne, WY. These guys know how to put on the show. New track layout by HBRacing, Mike Ward was amazing and technical. Lots of room to pass on power and off power under braking. The guys from the club have put lots of work in to the track and delivered what they have promoted over winter months.

I had a chance to run few different setups in practice on my nitro buggy and finally stuck with most comfortable one.

Pro-Line ElectroShot X3 compound tire was most consistent one I have tried during the practice.

In first round of qualifying, I missed the TQ by couple of seconds due to bad crash of the front straight. Second round of qualifying was also few seconds slower due to traffic but I still managed to lock in the second spot on the grid.  Read the rest of this entry »

Past weekend we had our race 2 of Colorado Series in at Hobbytown USA Track in Longmont, CO. Joey “TheDirt” came out and build us beautiful track that was flowing and fast for this event.

Saturday morning we had a bit of rain that watered the track perfectly and qualifying began of to a good start. I ran Pro-Line Hole Shots X3s on the Buggy for all three qualifiers and after qual points were added I locked in the 4th spot on the grid for the main. In Truggy qualifying, I used Pro-Line X3 Suppressors and set my Truggy a little softer on the suspension due to smooth surface on the track. After 3 rounds of qualifying I was able to lock in 2nd spot on the grid just .400 of a second short of TQ. In the Truggy Main I made few mistakes and got caught up in some traffic in the end to finish in 2nd spot on podium and get the fastest lap time in the race. Read the rest of this entry »

Past weekend final round of Colorado Points series was held at HobbyTown USA track in Longmont,CO.

Saturday for qualifying I chose Blockade X3 compound Tires for my D815 Buggy and I was able to TQ Nitro Buggy class by 4-seconds after RD3.

For the Truggy qualifying I used Blockade X3 Tires on my D8TTE and the truck was very consistent and had lots of forward traction for the long Double in the middle of the track. After only two rounds of Truggy qualifying, I had secured the TQ spot for the Main. Read the rest of this entry »

After a long, Hot qualifying day I was able to TQ Nitro Truggy class with X3 Hole Shots and qualify 2nd in Nitro Buggy with X3 Fugitives.

After cancellation of original dates for round 2 of Colorado Off-road Series due to Tornado warning and massive rain storms, the race was held this past weekend at Burlington, CO at Dirtworks RC Raceway. Bill Parsons the owner, did an amazing job repairing the Track for us.

Friday racers arrived to get some much needed practice on this amazing track. The layout was super technical and a lot of fun. I had some time on Friday to get my practice underway after work. With help of my good friend and a awesome pit guy Tony Mojanovski, we were able to run two bottles of fuel trough my Cars before rain struck again. That Friday night we received over 6″ of rain. Track was in very good shape the next day just needed little repairs to get the qualifying under way. Unfortunately the qualifying started little late for me as I had plans that Saturday with my lovely girl.

Just wanted to share my podium spot at Byron’s Challenge held at HobbyPlex Raceway in Omaha, NE.

IMG_2228

The race went well. I was running X3 Hole Shots in Truggy for qualifying and I was able to qualify 4th on the grid.

After the 45-min Main the X3 Hole Shots looked great and still had plenty of thread left on them.

For Buggy Qualifying I used X4 Fugitives. Unfortunately, I had to bump from B-Main into A-Main.

Tires I used for the bump where X3 Fugitives,  they were amazing all trough the 45-min Main.

I had a little problem in the pits which put me in the back of the pack and I was only able to finish 8th in Pro Buggy A-Main.

Thank you all for the support and have a wonderful weekend.

Cheers,

Addy
