Our next adventure takes us to the westernmost tip of land where the paved road ends to Ka’ena Point State Park Mokulē’ia Section located in Waialua Oahu, Hawaii. Ka’ena in the Hawaiian culture means “the heat”. The State of Hawaii has designated the point as a Natural Area Reserve to protect nesting Laysan Albatross and wedgetailed Shearwaters, Hawaiian Monkseals and native strand vegetation. What a great day of racing at the 2016 U4RC Summer Nationals at Cherry Valley RC Raceway! The sun was out and the best in the country were all there.
The Pro-Line Yeti Jeep Wrangler fitted with Pro-Line Racing BF Goodrich KR2 was off the hook!
The racing was fast, rough and exciting. Cherry Valley defenatly put these tires though the test! The 1.9″ and 2.2″ Trophy RC Fabworks chassis both had the Pro-Line Racing Flat Irons and they were sticking all day! They really did there job! The 1.9 Trophy was Back and forth in the Mains. Eventually landing on the podium in the third spot. With the sun down the 2.2″ Flat Irons on the Beast did an awesome job holding me down. Unfortunately they could help my vision! LOL… I eventually finished in the middle of the pack. At the end day,
I was able to race against the best there is in U4RC and Pro-Line Racing Bodies, Shocks and Tires kept me in the game!!

Special Thanks to James Goad Photography for the awesome shots!
Had a great time at the U4RC Nationals at Cherry Valley RC Raceway in Southern California. So many great drivers showed up to race was a awesome day. The day started out with a little bit of practice had to get the track down and get my lines figure it out through the rocks in 2.2″ indy. The Rock section at Cherry Valley is definitely one that separates the men from the boys when it comes to U4RC.
First rounds of heat started with 1.9″ Trail in which I was able to take home a second had a great battle with Adam Baker the whole Heat. My second heat was 2.2″ indy didn’t get too great of a start but managed to come back from the back and win that heat.
Ran Flat Iron XL‘s in 1.9 Trail and Swamper XLs in 2.2″ Indy

July 15-18th I attended the King of GURUS 2016 comp Presented by SuperShafty. Rolling in on Friday I didn’t know what to expect but I planned on having fun regardless. Got camp setup and made my way around saying hi to old friends and introducing myself to new ones. Saturday was class 2 and class 1. My class 2 was nothing to brag about but managed a 10th place finish out of 84 drivers, on my 1.9″ Pro-Line Super Swamper XLs. Read the rest of this entry »
AxialFest 2016 couldn’t have gone better in my book, Trails were great and racing was fierce.
AxialFest racing is an Outlaw style event which means if you roll, your car becomes track art. No corner marshals really makes you have to do work driver!
“My Pro-Line PowerStroke shocks and Pro-Line Flat Iron XL’s worked awesome to keep the horsepower planted. Thanks again to Pro-Line for all you do and for helping me bring home another win!”

BackYardOutlawRC Scalers would like to say THANK YOU Pro-Line Racing for your awesome support of our group event “June Run In the sun and stars”.
This was our first night event for the group and doubled with the day run it made for quite an awesome event! We started out with the day run and the sun was sure letting us know it’s summer!
The Pro-Line decked rigs were stomping the trail and the Flat Irons seem to be the perfect tire for this mixture of rocks, hard dirt, and water we encounter on the course. Read the rest of this entry »

Since being added to the Pro-Line Factory Team I have been testing all their different Tires in ALL CONDITIONS. This Day I drove to Upper Calico Basin. They creek beds were still wet from the rains, so this day it was all about the Pro-Line Racing Chevy C10 with Tekin Power and Boom Racing upgrades testing out the 1.9 Flat Iron XL’s . Every thing I put my truck through, it handled NO PROBLEM. Slick rock, mud, soft dirt, steep climbs.
These Tires were MORE THAN IMPRESSIVE!! Another great Tire from Pro-Line!!!
Thanks to all my sponsors for all they do for my RC program. #rocknrowerc
