This past weekend (July 30  – 31, 2010) Colorado Fast Track (CFT) hosted the 3^rd Annual Pikes Peak Nitro Challenge in Colorado Springs, CO. Previous winners of this race in Pro Buggy were Matt Chambers – 1^st Annual and Mike Truhe – 2^nd Annual. There were 2 ten-minute qualifiers. I TQ’d Round 1 and Matt Chambers TQ’d Round 2 and took overall TQ with a faster time. I won the 5 lap Dash for Cash passing Chambers on the last lap over the triple to win the cash by 0.03 of a sec. Matt was bitter. In the 45min A-Main, Matt and I pulled away from the pack with Matt leading until motor issues ended his day at the 30 min mark. This allowed me to cruise to victory.
